TRADE #15 - Buy RJR 60s @ $41.80 in Datek (Backlog for September 27, 2002)

[This is a backlog for a previous trading transaction. It may not fully represent my thinking at the time of the trading.]

RJR gave up 13% since my purchase of 60 shares last week. To me, this makes RJR more appealing: RJR is offering 9% dividend now and although the market is getting more competitive, RJR still possesses a few solid brand names and it surely can weather the winter with its strong balance sheet . Therefore, I made another purchase of 60 shares today at $41.80. I hope by averaging down my position I can be closer to profitability.
