TRADE #9 - Short QQQ 80s @ $34.84 in Datek (Backlog for October 23, 2001)



[This is a backlog for a previous trading transaction. It may not fully represent my thinking at the time of the trading.]

Today I shorted 80 shares of QQQ, the ETF tracking stock for NASDAQ 100, @$34.84.

Seeing NASDAQ lost 65% from the all-time high in April 2000, I continue to be bearish of the market in general, and tech-oriented NASDAQ in particular. I think the decline has not finished yet and decide to try my luck in shorting. Let's see how it pans out.
