Reminder: Free Credit Report Rolled Out To Southern States On June 1st



A quick reminder: if you live in Southern states, it's your turn to receive the free annual credit report from the "big three" credit reporting agencies (CRAs): Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. You may access the official website at https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ starting from tomorrow to get access to these free credit reports. (People living in the West and Midwest already have access. It will be rolled out to Eastern states and all U.S. Territories by September 1.)

Now that identity theft is commonplace, you can never understate the importance of checking your own credit information regularly. Since you are entitled to three free report (one from each CRA), your strategy can be to pull a report every four months. Go start from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/, or take a look at PFBlog's step-by-step guide for each CRA:
