Eloan gave another monthly update of my credit score. My score declined from last month's 663 to this month's 650. This is mostly due to my intent to keep a high balance in my ShareBuilder Visa Card to enjoy the full benefit of 12 months' 0 APR, as it makes me look like using 90% of the credit limit (and therefore dangerous).
The report went further to predict that simply due to passage of time by one month, my credit score will be 678 or 28 points more. In addition, if I can pay down some of my ShareBuilder Visa credit balance to under 50% of the credit limit, I can expect another 18 points gain. I'll not pay down that card for sure (until August 2004) but I'll be interested to know how accurate Eloan will be in its first prediction.
