Monthly Credit Score Update - January 2004

Eloan just reported that my credit score is now 673, a 24 points boost since last update. The forecast in the last update turns to be correct in predicting that with the simple passage of time my credit score will get 20 points boost. Coincidentally, this month marks the 1 year and 6 month anniversary for my oldest credit card in the credit report.

As usual, my high balance in the ShareBuilder Visa Platinum is still mentioned as having unfavorable impact on my score. I plan to pay it down around April timeframe, by when I will start using this reward card as my primary credit card.

The report also predicts that for the month ahead, the passage of time will add 5 points to my credit score next month.
