How many personal finance blogs are there in the blogsphere? Probably no one knows for sure. Unlike two years ago, when one can probably count all personal finance blogs with fingers, nowadays, new blogs are set up literally by the hour.
PFBlogs.org (no relationship with PFBlog.com), an ad-free personal finance blog aggregator, currently tracks 240 blogs. This is surely an underestimate of the personal finance blogging community.
Google provides another interesting metric. The premium search engine reports 27,500,000 pages on "personal finance blog".
27.5 million pages may well be an exaggeration. For example, PFBlog.com only have 40,200 pages indexed in Google, so even assuming all personal finance blogs have as many pages indexed as PFBlog.com, we will be talking about 684 mega blogs.
What do you consider as a fair estimate of the size of personal finance blogging community today?
