Millionaire Material?

BBC allows you to self test whether you are a millionaire material. There are actually two 4-minute short tests: the first tests whether you have the millionaire "potential," and the second tests whether you can work your way to success.

As it is hosted by BBC, expect to see some Europe-centric questions. Also apparently, the test is more inclined to "millionaires" thru self-made business owners rather than thru diligent personal finance management (like what I promote in this blog). It is therefore no surprise that the typical millionaires identified in the underlying research shows the following attributes:

- On average they work more than a 60-hour week
- Their biggest faults are being aggressive and abrasive
- More than half come from poor or ordinary backgrounds
- Most of them don't care what other people think of them
- The majority said they were lazy or just very average at school
- They prefer to drive Mercedes
- Their favourite dish is roast beef or lamb
- They say hard work has been crucial to their success
- Almost all say they are happy with their life
- Half spend less than £40 per head for dinner at a good restaurant
- They prefer to buy quality cheaper clothes from high street chains
- The majority spend more than £2500 each year on holidays for their family and they like to stay in five star hotels

BTW, this millionaire test is among a series of psychology tests. You should be able to find some more tests that interest you. For example: one test helps you know how good you are at spotting fake smiles.
