In this blog I have discussed magazine subscription several times (1, 2, 3 and 4). This BankRate article offers some additional tips.

- Students and teachers may be eligible for special discounts
- Get free magazines from sites like TradePub.com, FreeBizMag.com and 100-free-magazines.com (you might need to answer a long list of questions to qualify though)
- Elders can seek AARP discount
- Be wary of door-to-door or phone magazine salespersons
