MyRatePlan, A Good Data Compiler

MyRatePlan.com did a great job compiling data. As a service referral site, MyRatePlan points you to many available options when it comes to credit card, long distance, wireless, satellite TV, internet connection, loans, insurance and many things else. To this end, it is very similar to LowerMyBills.com. However, MyRatePlan's presentation of data is way better.

Take its credit card department for an example, all available cards are listed at the right-hand side, and when you can change your criteria like 0% APR introductory offers, reward programs, card types and other options on the left, the card listing will automatically be updated, so you never need to read line by line to find the card you need. In addition, card features, benefits, introductory offers and reward programs are clearly presented all in the same single page -- you never need to click in and check out the find prints.

The same filter-type guide is available to the wireless section too, in which you can filter by monthly charge, monthly available minutes, free cell phone, free nights and weekends calling, contract term, technology, among other things. This should really save you some time when comparing plans.

Of course, you can expect MyRatePlan will get a cut for each successful referral. For instance, its Wireless Prepaid Plan page does not mention Virgin Mobile, which I am using and highly recommended. But on the other hand, MyRatePlan already gives you enough choices in almost each of its categories.
