A Brief Guide to PFBlog.com
Welcome to PFBlog, the unique personal finance blog.
PFBlog all starts with an ambition: accumulating a full million dollars by the age of 40 (year 2016) through hard working and diligent personal finance management.
Since 2003, I have been applying a strict methodology of setting up goals, preparing plan and implementing tactics. To join me in this journey, you might want to take a look at my 2005 financial goals. PFBlog archive includes my goals and results in prior years. (Check out 2004 goals, 2004 results, 2003 goals and 2003 results.) I also publish my progress monthly and you might read my latest monthly update from this folder.
I frequently discuss major personal finance decisions, review latest personal finance products and share great personal finance resources. These posts are collected in two categories: Analysis and Resources. From time to time, I also comment on some media stories about various personal finance topics like credit, insurance, investments and economy. You may follow the category list at the bottom of each page for more details.
Although not extensively covered at PFBlog, portfolio management is still an important component of financial success. Look no further than My Portfolio - General section to have a quick view of my holdings. I keep a complete record of my transactions and sometimes discuss my holdings and stock picks.
PFBlog.com is updated frequently and you can expect anywhere from 20 to 50 new posts every month. You may want to add the RSS Feed (RDF or XML format) to your newsreader. If you haven't used newreader yet, try out Bloglines.
A final reminder: this web site does not offer financial advice. It's only a personal diary of financial thinkings and happenings. By using any information in this site in any manner, you agree to the rules of this site.
Thank you for joining me in this long journey!
