Budgeting Tips For Students
Being a student, I know how difficult it is to earn enough to get by. I also know that allocating your money is tough. That's why I have prepared 3 simple budgeting tips for students.
1) If possible, sit down and allocate your income before you actually receive it. That way you are prepared and organized. You then end up putting the money towards important things instead of blowing it all on alcohol and other fun things.
2) Buy groceries and other supplies in bulk. You'd be surprised how much money you can save on items you regularly buy, when you buy them in bulk. Go shopping once a month, instead of once a week and watch the savings roll in!
3) Restrict your spending on non-essentials. Are you spending too much money on things such as alcohol, junk food, partying? If so, and you have other debts, using too much of your money to buy non-essentials could be costing your a lot more than you think. Not only is the money dissapearing, but by not using that money to pay off your debts you are racking up interest, which means you owe more!
Put these simple budgeting tips into practice and see how much you save!
