Intuit Sunsetting Older Versions of Quicken

Just a quick heads up for those of you that, like me, are still using an old version of Quicken... As of April 19, 2005 you will no longer be able to access 'Online Services' using Quicken 2002 or earlier. According to Intuit, the services in question include:

- online bill pay
- downloading data from your financial institutions
- downloading stock quotes and news headlines into Quicken
- uploading portfolio information from Quicken to Quicken.com
- access to the investing features on Quicken.com

If you want to be able to continue using these features, you'll have to upgrade to a newer version. This isn't to say that you can't continue using an older versions... Just don't plan on being able to access the online features. Fortunately for me, I found a copy of Quicken 2004 that I didn't even know that I owned -- it came preinstalled on one of my computers. Now all I have to do is migrate my data and I'll be set for another couple of years.
