Reading Is Fundamental - Investing Book Reading List

Barry Ritholtz, author of The Big Picture weblog and writer for RealMoney.com has just posted his most recent Apprenticed Investor column to TheStreet.com. Today's column is Part I of a suggested reading list for "traders and investors of all stripes." The books are divided into three sections: Introduction to Investing, Historical Perspectives, and Psychology.

Of the 11 books listed I've read only 2 but I've already added the rest to my Amazon Wish list. The two I have read, Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Edwin Lefevre and Market Wizards: Interviews with Top Traders by Jack D. Schwager are excellent books that I whole heartedly endorse.

Part 2 of the book list will look at "books focused on economics, Wall Street, technical analysis, fundamentals, shorting, and miscellany."
