Initial Mad Money Statistics

The picks made on Thursday's and Friday's shows, as well as my analysis will be up Saturday morning as I've got a packed schedule through then. In the mean time here are some initial statistics based on two days of tracking:

First day returns (day after show mention) from open of market to close of market

6/21 PICKS, AVERAGE CHANGE: BULLS: +.18%, BEARS -.09%, OWNS* +.53%, S&P 500 +.02%

6/22 PICKS, AVERAGE CHANGE: BULLS: -.86%, BEARS -.59%, OWNS* -1.14%, S&P 500 -1.08%

*OWNS are stocks he mentioned on the show, that day, that he owned in his charitable trust at the time of the show.

Now, these numbers are very much preliminary and I wouldn't make any decisions based on two days of data but it is an interesting start nonetheless.

The street.com recaps are pretty bad. They dont even mention the lightning round picks.

After the Jim Cramer Mad Money BULL picks from Jun-21 have been riding for a week. They have fallen & fallen hard. Only 24% of his BULL picks went Up (compared to high 60% in the past). I'll check back in a month to see if they recovered.

Jim Cramer Mad Money BULL picks Jun-21 (after a week) -
9 - Up (climbed)

Hi Mark - What was the deal with no Lightning Round on the Jim Cramer Mad Money TV show on Wed Jun-29 ?

thanks, the-mtb-investor.blogspot.com

MTB-

My guess is that the reason there was no lightning round is that Jim is probably on vacation for the fourth of July. He had a fill in for his radio show today as well.

Thanks for the update on Jim Cramer's vacation ! It looks like he is taking time off at the right time.

I'll be doing the same during July to watch the Tour de Lance !
