Deal on wheel alignment

Next time you take your car in for wheel alignment, ask the dealer if they offer a Multiyear Wheel Alignment Service. Recently I bought a five-year agreement from NTB. And the breakeven point was somewhere around 2-3 alignments. NTB also sells one and three year packages.

Heres a link to NTBs pricing. I got the 5-year package toward the bottom of the page. With this deal I paid $170 to get free alignments every 6,000 miles or 6 months for a five year period.

NTB is owned by Tire Kingdom. According to their Web sites, both companies offer the same deal. You will also get hit with a shop fee when you purchase the agreement. I do not recall the amount.

BTW, don't buy tires from NTB without first checking with Sams or Costco. Also make sure to get an "out-the-door" price quote. An out-the-door quote forces the dealer to disclose shop fees and other hidden charges before you get to the register.

Note: You should have your tires rotated every 6,000 miles to extend the life of your tires.
