Ask to Get Late Charges Removed

NEVER hesitate to call your credit card company to ask to get a late charge removed.

Personally, I try never to be late at payment for any expense. However, once in a while you may be late, especially if it is a store credit card that you rarely use. After our baby was born, I missed a payment on a store credit card. These store cards charge so much in late fees, $25 late fee? That is crazy. So I called the credit card company and ask them to remove the late fee. The person on the other end asked me why I was late, so I told her we just had a baby, Abracadabra! The $25 late fee was dropped.

Once again, NEVER hesitate to call your credit card company to ask to get a late charge removed.
