"Investing" in Textiles - 44% Per Year Return

I invested in textiles last week. I went ahead and bought 5 more dress shirts for work from Lands End so I would not have to do laundry each week.

You see the building I live in now charges $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry (I used to have in unit laundry). By expanding my fleet of work dress shirts from 5 to 10 I will only have to do 26 loads a year. I will save $76 per year (and also save a lot of time).

The shirts were a great deal - only about $20 including shipping -

I get a rough figure of 44% per year by assigning the shirts a 3 year useful life, assuming I can purchase new shirts in 3 years for about the same price, and neglecting the cost of capital (which is low right now). This is better that I can do with ING or EmigrantDirect

I'll close the loop by saving an extra 3 bucks each pay period to make sure this small savings actually gets saved and not spent ...
