The Wonderful World of Yahtzee

Last summer our family (re)discovered the joy of Yahtzee. We were in Las Vegas, and we were looking for something to entertain the kids when we weren't hanging out poolside. Given the choices available in the gift shop (pretty much just dice and cards) I thought it might be fun to play some Yahtzee. So... I picked up a set of five dice and I did my best to reconstruct the rules from the farthest reaches of my memory. We didn't get it quite right, but the kids ended up loving it just the same, and it turned out to be great math practice. So, when we got back home, we looked up the rules and started playing it right. I also finally got around to whipping up a score sheet on my computer. So there's really no need to buy the game... Just dig up some dice and start rolling.
