Morningstar Pick: Dodge & Cox International Stock (DODFX)

DODFX is my largest holding in my half-a-million portfolio. It is a solid international fund that wins accolade from almost all fund reviews. Read the full Morningstar report so you can make your own assessment.

From Morningstar:

This fund's managers rely on a strategy that is sound, proven, and well suited to a sizable asset base. The managers take the sensible approach of pursuing overseas stocks that look cheap on a variety of metrics and enjoy good managements, competitive positions, and growth potential. The managers at Dodge & Cox Stock (DODGX) have earned excellent long-term returns by applying the same discipline to the U.S. market. And while this fund has seen considerable inflows the past few years, the managers readily consider mid-caps, have a broad country universe, and move at a very measured pace, which means they're better positioned to handle a big asset base than most.
