Still Growing, Still a Bargain





10% will be impressive growth for a company of Microsoft's size.

From Barron's:

While the Street isn't entirely convinced that Microsoft is still a growth stock, CEO Steve Ballmer last Thursday valiantly tried to convince investors otherwise. That was the primary theme at the company's annual meeting with analysts in Redmond, Wash.: Microsoft's execs were uncharacteristically bullish about its opportunities for a new period of growth.

At the meeting, Microsoft repeated its previous forecast that growth in fiscal 2006, ending next June, will accelerate to a range of 10%-12%, with modest growth of 5%-6% in its core Windows and Office franchises and more robust gains in other business lines.
