GM Extends Discount Offer; Ford Plans to Match Program

Now everyone needs to match the offer, and I guess nobody is willing to put an end to the discounting game now.

From Wall Street Journal:

General Motors Corp. on Tuesday announced it was extending its discount program that allows customers to buy cars and trucks at the employee rate and helped the automaker's sales soar last month.

Ford Motor Co. plans to match GM's employee pricing offer with the Ford Family plan, a Ford spokesman said. The plan will be announced later today or early Wednesday.
