PIMCO's Bill Gross Is Worried

You have to take Bill Gross' concern seriously.

From Morningstar:

Gross is worried, though. He's worried about the whole U.S. economy. The reasons are no secret: The current weakness of the dollar, the related situation of China, and the price of oil are all big issues that he discussed at a recent meeting with some Morningstar analysts. What gives Gross particular pause, however, is what got us to where we are. He points out that the economic recovery of the past two to three years has been a finance-based affair, with an emphasis on wealth creation, rather than production or advances in efficiency. He notes that America isn't really getting any wealthier just because housing prices have been going through the roof.

Very interesting portrait of some "economists'" ignorance of the real issue. The reality is: the irresponsible fiscal and montary policies will not bring a happen ending.

Something is certainly in the making, but don't assume China will let Yuan appreciate any time soon ... higher unemployment rate is on the other side of the equation.
