Acting Like a Chief While Still Officially in the Wings

An all-inclusive interview for the new chief at Disney. As far as I am concerned, this man probably has a shot.

From New York Times:

In March, the board of the Walt Disney Company announced that Robert A. Iger, Disney's president, would succeed its chief executive, Michael D. Eisner, the subject of a shareholder revolt at last year's annual meeting in Philadelphia. Though Mr. Iger will not formally take the job until Oct. 1, he has wasted no time putting his stamp on Disney.

Before the month was over, he quickly dismantled the corporate strategic planning department and gave division heads more authority to run their businesses. He is trying to patch things up with Pixar Animation Studios, which last year said that it would end its joint venture with Disney. And he is overseeing a turnaround at ABC, which had struggled for years.
