Is this a bidding game?

From Wall Street Journal:

In setting new targets for Google in recent weeks, Piper Jaffray analyst Safa Rashtchy ($300), UBS analyst Benjamin Schachter ($350), Credit Suisse First Boston analyst Heath Terry ($350) and Smith Barney analyst Mark Mahaney ($360) all said Wall Street's expectations about earnings, revenue or more exotic metrics like Ebitda were "conservative."

Do you smell the bubble? It isn't long ago before someone sets a price target of $400 for Amazon. I simply cannot see how Google can be a sensible investment at 10x forward revenue.
