$2,000 A Day on Google Adsense

$2,000 a day! It is more than what I got from Google in a month, and I almost monetized every corner of my web site.

From Weblogs, Inc.:

It took us just over seven months (from September 2004 to April 2005) to go from $0 to $1,000, and about six weeks to go from $1,000 to $2,000. The increase was based on traffic gains and adding Google Adsense for RSS. Were also involved in one other unannounced Google Adsense program that makes our sites a little more targeted (I cant go into details on it, but its not having a huge impact).

I don't necessarily agree with Kevin's notion that blog is a bubble. By removing technical barriers, blog enables an average Joe to write by himself and be heard by the crowd. I do agree that podcast and video blogs are fancy but unnecessary innovations, though.
