End-of-Month Updates

There's only one day left in the month (and in the sales quarter). This is a big deal to sales folks and is the primary reason why I haven't posted much this week. Here are a few updates:

  • Quarterly Sales Bonus - It doesn't look like I'm going to get to my quarterly sales goal that I discussed in this post. I'm $38,945 short. Not only does this mean I don't get the $2K bonus, but it also means that I might need COBRA Insurance soon. I have one deal outstanding - worth around $80K. If it's signed, then I'll be business. My life has revolved around this deal for the past week. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
  • 4th of July Vacation - Me and the bride-to-be are going to Key West for the weekend (That's where her mother is from). I had to get a rental car ($300), but our airfare was paid for. I spent $35 on a new pair of shoes last night. I hope to keep this trip under $500 total, but I'm not sure how that will go.
  • Personal Finance Goals for June - I'll give a more detailed update next week, but it appears that I did an ok job of meeting my financial goals for this month. I'll also give July goals next week.
  • The cost of my MBA - I started a new class last week in my MBA program. This is a HR Management class -- and the cost of the book was $165.00. Definitely the most expensive book so far, but so far it seems like it will be one of the best classes too.
