Okay, so I can get a 4-star room in NYC for $229 on Hotels.com. But, hell... I'm a frugal guy, I've been saving. What if I really want to splurge?
Enter Forbes presentation of the Most Expensive Hotels in America. (I linked to the print version so you don't have to sit through their clunky slideshow.) Top of the list is the Mansion at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at a paltry $5000 per night. Of course, if that's too rich for you you can always "settle" for the Casa Palmero in Pebble Beach. That one's only $745 per night.
