Retirement Asset Allocations Update
Took some time and calculated my retirement portfolio's asset allocation percentages today.
This is made so much easier with Fidelity's "Portfolio Analysis" tool. I just have to do a little copy and paste into Excel with some formatting. I should really look into either Money or Quicken to manage this stuff, but for right now I can't be bothered.
Here are the allocations:

It's been a decent few months. We're up about $8000 which includes 401(k) contributions and $100/month IRA contributions, but includes primarily growth in investments. The biggest domestic gainer was IFCJ, up 22% because of the announcement of it's takeover. I've been holding it since my father's bank was taken over by them years ago. My cost basis is $7.00/share.
International holdings continue to lead the way for me with AEMGX up 13.6% and OAKIX up 10.2% without any additional funds. Both of these funds have been amazing in the past few years. They are so hot I'm wondering if it would be smart to take some profits.
I'm a little concerned how little bonds I own but the short term funds are making decent rates now. It's obvious bond fund managers are on the sidelines right now. TASCX is still holding a lot of cash indicating that these managers think small caps are overheated. I tend to agree because they had a great run in the past 4 years.
Overall I'm very pleased with the portfolio balance. I should also note that I hold two rare coins worth about $4000 for the long term. I don't have any gold so I missed out on that except for my PCRDX fund.
My allocations haven't changed much despite a lot of growth so that tells me the balance is good for now. I might look into some TIPS for my cash. There are also some interesting Microcap ETFs on the market now that warrant a look.
