QQQQ vs. XLK

I invited reader comment in my post Large Caps about a week or so back (the timestamps are wrong because of technical issues).

At the time I was about to purchase $1000 of XLK to move my portfolio balance more towards Large Cap Growth. I am balanced more towards Small Value on the traditional matrix.

Here's the analysis of my domestic equities from my Fidelity account. Domestic equities are 52% of my total retirement holdings right now.

So, I'm still debating whether to take a broader move into tech+ with QQQQ or to stick pretty close to the tech giants with XLK.

For some reason I have been unable to make a good decision around this sector for some time, despite being in over 10% cash.

As I've debated with some readers on my other posts, even financial planners need help making up their minds at times. I'm having dinner with my CPA this weekend - I think I'll bring this up.mortgage calculator
