Coach Coin's Categories
For new readers I'd like to briefly go over the types of posts and the categories that I will use so everyone can browse right to the content that most interests them.
Financial Planning - posts concerned with the five major areas of financial planning: insurance, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. I will draw on my financial planning class material, industry literature, and my personal financial coaching experience for these posts and will rely heavily on reader comments to drive my choice of topics.
Commentary/Talkback - posts driven by my personal experiences with my own financial planning, investments, budgeting, and marital issues around money. Again, reader comments will be important to drive my discussion of my own experiences. I'll be candid with my personal information to a reasonable degree. I'll also use this section to comment and talkback to other bloggers.
Success - some of my client experiences and some insights on how to engage in personal and financial success through the nonfinancial areas of your life. You'll find the same discipline that helps financial planning also helps many other areas and vice versa. If I ever trend away from posting specifically about money issues it will be here. I'll draw on my experience as a team building and leadership education facilitator and my motivational speaking experience.
What's the Deal? - this category will contain analysis of vendors and service providers so readers can make an informed decision regarding whether to do business with them. I will draw heavily on my own experience and link to other resources in order to provide the full story.
