ING Direct Moves Up But...

ING Direct has once again raised the interest rate offered on its online-only savings account. They now offer an annual percentage yield (APY) of 3.3%.

This is still below the offerings of a number of other online institutions, but ING Direct gets great marks (in my opinion) for customer service and interface usability, if those things are important to you.

You can see the most recent list of best online-only checking and savings rates here.

A number of people have asked about the ING Direct $25 bonus; send an email to me (remove "NOSPAM") and I will forward a referral email to you. By using the link in the message, anyone can receive the $25 bonus (and I'll receive a $10 bonus) for that referral.

I'm still working on catching up on all that I missed over the past few days. I'll write more about the vacation (which ended up being less expensive than I had planned) later.
