Ask For Auto Insurance Discounts Early

Georgia left an excellent comment the other day about how she received her "turning 25" auto insurance discount three months early simply by asking.

From our email correspondence:

I was actually calling my insurance for something else (in late January) when he asked when I was turning 25 (in early May). He put me in for the discount and it didn't kick it back. He said that they will usually give the discount 3 up to three months before age 25. So I got the discount of being 25 [three months early].

(emphasis mine)

Chalk it up to another one of those "it never hurts to ask" type of deals. Incidentally, her insurance was American Family but it might work with your insurer as well.
