Back in August, I did the Sharebuilder $50 promotion (tip of the hat goes to Jon from MyMoneyBlog) with the intent that I'd deposit, buy a share of something, and forget it for a whole bunch of years (for that, read my post on how to turn $50 into $1000+ in only 20-30 years). Well, I totally forgot about it (the point right?) until today and when I checked, the $50 was deposited on 10/6 - exactly two months after my initial deposit. Currently, in two months, I've lost exactly 73 cents (and $4 commission) in my investment in IYT - DJ TRANSPORT INDEX (ISHARES).
