Free Terminix Termite Inspections
Terminix.com is offering a free Termite Inspection. Since I just bought a house and already had a termite analysis as part of the inspection process, this doesn't present much value for me. However, if you haven't had a termite inspection (or at least an analysis) in a while, a free visit from Terminix is probably a good idea.
Are there any catches? I have no idea because I haven't tried it but it sounds like it's only an analysis - i.e. they look at things that might attract termites, tell-tale signs of termite infestation, but nothing official.
Details:
For your Free Terminix Termite Inspection, please fill out the form and a Terminix representative will contact you to arrange a complete termite analysis of your home. Free Termite Inspections are valid only through participating locations, and are not applicable for real estate closings.
Their motivation is probably to get your business if you do have a termite problem... if any of you have tried this or are going to try it, let me know how it turns out.
